Utilising the smartcard for other banking channels. Internet security can now be linked to the EMV card; Transactions on the web or MO/TO can now move to card present transactions – and reduce repudiated transactions; Reduce ‘phishing’ by using end-to-end authentication of card and server. For internet security Keycorp provides the MasterCard CAP (Chip Authentication Program) application utilising the EMV parameters. Additionally, applications such as PocketServer are also available on Keycorp MULTOS, providing additional security for web usage. |
